OPSC Recruitment 2011-12 - vacancies for Assistant Surgeon - www.opsc.nic.in

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has published an  advertisement No. 06 for recruitment 2011-12 to the post of Assistant Surgeon in Jr. Class I of Odisha Medical Service Cadre under Health & Family Welfare Department.

Vacancies: Total 750 vacancies in the pay band of Rs. 15,600-39100 + GP Rs. 5400 + usual dearness and other allowances.

Qualification:

1. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) 4 ½ years duration. Candidates must have successfully completed Housemanship for minimum 1 year.
2. If candidates have passed the M.B.B.S. of 5 years, they must have completed successfully Housemanship for minimum 6 months.
3. If the acquired M.B.B.S. degree from a foreign University, candidates are required to have passed the screening test organized by the National Board of Examination.

Age limit: 21-32 years.
